Will Ortsbo remember all my login information for all the chat services?

Yes, once you have provided Ortsbo with the login information the app will save your login information within your device. You can remove this information at any time.

Will my information be safe?

Yes, your login information is stored securely, locally within your mobile device.

Can I use the Facebook Chat if I do not have an account with them?

If you do not have a Facebook account, simply signup at www.Facebook.com free of charge. It is important that you complete the following extra steps within your Facebook account to enable Ortsbo to connect to your Facebook chat network. Step 1. Login to your Facebook account per usual. Step 2. Select the "Account->Account Settings" menu option You will likely find your username blank, if so, please click the change link and select a username. Once you have a username, please make a note as it is required for connecting to the Facebook chat network. Be aware that it can take up to 72 hours for Facebook to enable your username.

Do I need to select a preferred incoming language?

The language your device is set to is the language you will see in all incoming chat messages, regardless of the language they originated in.

Can I change my incoming language afterwards?

At the moment the only option is to change the language that the other party will be receiving in.

I can't get into my Facebook Chat account!

Facebook ID's are in a slightly different format. Use your Facebook username, and the password is your normal Facebook password. If you still cannot login to your Facebook account, please contact Facebook customer assistance.

Why can’t I see all my friends?

Only your friends that are online and available for chat are displayed.

How long do I have to wait for my messages to be translated?

You don't! Ortsbo offers real-time language translation!

Can I share this with others?

Absolutely! Get them to download the app, or let your friends and family know about it through Facebook, Twitter, or wherever else you want! Under settings you have the option to send an email about the app with a link to install!

I can't find my preferred language!

At this moment, Ortsbo supports over 50 languages! In time, we will have more languages supported to best suit you soon!

Will I still be able to use video chats on those services?

At the moment, this is not available.

I cannot login with my chat services!

Double check your user name and password by contacting your chat network for password and username. If the problem still persists contact our customer assistance.

Can I select my own themes with Ortsbo?

At this current time, you cannot select other themes.

Can I customize Ortsbo?

At this current time, you cannot customize.

Can I select another font or font size?

At this current time, you cannot select an alternate font or font size.

Can I change my status name?

At this current time, you cannot change your display name.

I signed into more than one service but I cannot see my contacts!

When you sign onto more than one chat network, they will all be displayed in the same window! Just keep scrolling, and the contacts and groups will be shown!

How do I use the Transl8tr?

Click on the transl8tr button on the bottom of the screen. Simply select the two languages, type and click translate. Ortsbo does all the work for you!

How do I save my Transl8tr Translation?

Click save at the top of the page and your text will be saved under transcripts.

What if I want to save a chat conversation?

Simply choose options on the chat window page and you can choose to save your conversation in the transcripts file.

How do I delete all my chat and transl8tr history?

To delete your chat or transl8tr history click on your settings. Within the settings menu there is the option to delete all transcripts. This will clear your chat or transl8tr history.

How do I log out?

When you close the app you will automatically be logged out of all chat networks.

Can I use a chat network if I don’t have an account with them?

In order to use a chat network within the Ortsbo app you require an account already created with that specific chat network.
